Refund & Replacement Policy

Our promise: Every key sold by MyLegitKeys.com is a genuine Microsoft license sourced through authorized channels. If your key fails to activate for any reason within 14 days of purchase, we will replace it — no hassle. Your purchase is protected.

1. Digital Delivery

All product keys are delivered digitally by email. Your key is dispatched automatically within minutes of payment confirmation. If you have not received your key within 30 minutes of purchase:

  • Check your spam or junk folder first
  • Confirm the email address you provided at checkout was correct
  • If you still cannot find it, contact us and we will resend it immediately

We are not responsible for non-delivery caused by an incorrect email address entered at checkout or messages blocked by your email provider.

2. What Is and Is Not Covered

✔ Covered — We will replace or refund

  • Key is invalid or has already been used
  • Key fails to activate and no working replacement can be provided
  • Wrong product delivered (different product than ordered)
  • Duplicate charge on the same order
  • Order confirmed but key never delivered

✘ Not covered — No refund or replacement

  • Key was successfully delivered and activated
  • You ordered the wrong product (we will help you exchange or apply credit)
  • Device or software incompatibility — check requirements before purchasing
  • Change of mind after the key is delivered
  • Request made more than 14 days after purchase

3. Replacement Process

If your key does not work, follow these steps to request a replacement:

  1. Email us at [email protected] or message us via WhatsApp within 14 days of your purchase date.
  2. Include your order number and a full-screen screenshot of the activation error — the date, time, and error message must all be clearly visible.
  3. We will verify the key status and respond within 24 hours during business hours (Mon–Sun, 9am–5pm EST).
  4. If the issue is confirmed, a replacement key will be sent to your email. If no valid replacement is available, a full cash refund will be issued instead.

4. Cash Refunds

Because product keys are digital goods delivered instantly, we issue replacements as our primary remedy. A cash refund is approved when:

  • We are unable to deliver a valid, working key after attempting a replacement, or
  • A duplicate charge was applied to your payment method.

Once a refund is approved, it is initiated within 1–2 business days. Funds typically appear on your statement within 3–7 business days depending on your bank or card provider. You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed.

5. Wrong Product / Exchange

If you ordered the wrong product (for example, the wrong Windows edition or Office version), contact us and we will work with you to either:

  • Exchange the key for the correct product where possible, or
  • Apply a credit toward the correct item

Please verify product compatibility and edition requirements before completing your purchase. Product descriptions on our Site clearly state which versions and operating systems each key supports.

6. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card provider before contacting us, we may be unable to assist you through our standard replacement or refund process. We encourage you to reach out to us first — we resolve the vast majority of issues quickly and without the need for a dispute.

Fraudulent chargebacks on successfully delivered and activated keys may result in permanent account suspension.
