Microsoft Project Professional 2013 — 5 User License
Project Professional 2013 is Microsoft’s full-featured project management application, and this listing gives you retail keys for 5 users. It’s the version project managers actually want — unlike Project Standard, Professional includes team collaboration, resource levelling, and Lync/Skype for Business integration out of the box.
What Project Professional 2013 Does Well
- Gantt charts & timeline view — map out your project schedule visually and share a clean timeline with stakeholders who don’t need the full app
- Resource management — assign people and equipment to tasks, see who’s over-allocated, and level workloads automatically
- Task path highlighting — click any task and Project highlights all predecessor and successor tasks in the critical path
- Team Planner — a drag-and-drop view showing what each team member is working on and when (Professional only)
- Sync with SharePoint — share task lists with team members who don’t have Project installed
- Skype for Business integration — presence indicators and messaging built into the interface
Professional vs Standard — What’s the Difference?
Standard handles the basics well — schedules, budgets, reports. Professional adds Team Planner, resource pool sharing across multiple projects, and the ability to connect to Project Server for enterprise portfolio management. If you’re managing a team rather than working solo, Professional is the one you want.
System Requirements
- Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10
- 1 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM (2 GB recommended)

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Project 2013 still usable?
Mainstream support ended in 2018 and extended support ended in April 2023. The software works fine for teams that haven’t moved to Project Online or Project for the web — it just won’t receive new patches from Microsoft.
Does it integrate with Project Server?
Yes — Project Professional 2013 is required (Standard won’t work) if you’re connecting to Project Server 2013 for enterprise project portfolio management.
Can each of the 5 users install on multiple machines?
Each retail key is a single-device license. You’ll receive 5 separate keys — one per user/machine.
