Office Standard 2013 MAK — 50 PC Activations
This is a Multiple Activation Key (MAK) for Microsoft Office Standard 2013, covering up to 50 PC activations. It’s the right choice for IT teams that prefer centrally managed volume licensing over individual per-device keys — one key, activated across your devices, tracked through VAMT if needed.
Office Standard vs Professional Plus
Standard includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and Publisher. It doesn’t include Access or InfoPath. For most office users who aren’t working with databases, Standard covers everything they need at a lower cost than Professional Plus.
MAK Activation — How It Works
A MAK works by connecting to Microsoft’s activation servers and deducting one count from your 50-activation pool each time it’s used on a new machine. You can activate:
- Online — each PC activates directly over the internet
- By phone — for air-gapped or offline deployments
- Via VAMT — batch activate across your network from a central management console
System Requirements
- Windows 7 SP1 or later
- 1 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM (32-bit) / 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
- 3 GB available disk space
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I check how many activations I’ve used?
Yes — run cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus from the Office installation folder, or manage it centrally in VAMT.
Is Office Standard 2013 still supported?
Extended support ended April 2023. The software remains functional but no longer receives security updates.
What happens if I need more than 50 activations later?
You’d need to purchase an additional MAK key. Alternatively, consider a larger activation count upfront.
